WHEN BUG BITES TURN TO... "FROST BITE"... AND OTHER WINTER HAZARDS!

Miss Skeeter

Hi kids (and moms and dads, too)! It's me, Miss Skeeter. You may know me already from the important advice I gave you on avoiding the summer "itchies" and other warm-weather topics, but now it's time to settle in for winter. While most bugs disappear in the cold winter months, I've invested in warm boots and other winter gear, so I can give you Miss Skeeter's buzz on important winter health and safety matters.

So, while your worries about bug bites can be put aside for now, there's a new kind of "bite" to keep in mind - frostbite. Along with rules for safe skating and sledding, hypothermia and other important winter issues, I'll also give away one of nature's biggest secrets - just where do those bugs go during the winter!?!
