Lanacane Summer Itch IndexTM
Did you know that the reason you itch might have to do with the weather where you live? That's right . . . during the summer, the more rain we get, the higher the mosquito population (mosquitoes breed in water, such as puddles, filled buckets, ponds, etc.). Plus, more rain means poison ivy has lots of water to help it grow. But, even if it doesn't rain that much, we are exposed to more sunlight, which can cause sunburn.

The Lanacane Itch Information CenterSM uses weather to track how itchy your city might be with the Lanacane Summer Itch IndexTM. With the help of weather experts at the University of Delaware, a color map and list of cities is created each day. You can see how your city ranks in itchiness compared to others . . . plus, a weekend forecast lets you know what's in store for your Saturday baseball game or Sunday barbecue.

Lanacane Sting Forecast

Want the "buzz" on bees and wasps in your neighborhood? Well, the Lanacane Sting ForecastTM actually can help track if bees and wasps are a problem in the city you live. Created by the Lanacane Itch Information CenterSM and the University of Delaware, it uses weather data and seasonal factors to determine if bees and wasps might be aggressive - this means, they might sting you! To learn more about bees and wasps, visit the Lanakids bee section, hosted by Bart Bumble.
